Unlike standard omni-directional detectors, the H1B-D comes equipped with a specialized external DF Antenna, allowing security personnel to manually scan the horizon and pinpoint the exact azimuth of an intruding UAV and its operator. This device is an essential asset for rapid response teams who need to not only detect but also visually locate threats in seconds.
Precision Direction Finding & Locked DF Mode
The standout feature of the H1B-D is its Locked DF Mode. Utilizing the high-gain directional antenna, the operator can achieve a probe azimuth accuracy of ≤30°. This narrow field of detection allows for the effective isolation of a target signal within a 1-2 km radius, even in environments with multiple active RF sources. This "point-and-detect" methodology is critical for identifying the specific approach vector of a drone.
